All the lads except Stephen & Peter were out braving the cold today... They had already sent in a note of absence before the forecast! How wise.
Minus 1 when we started. 47 miles completed with a tea stop at Runnymede.
The biggest scare of the day was Foz jacknifing on the ice with his back wheel catching him up as he fought to keep himself upright. Thankfully he did!

Training has started...
Well it appears that now the snow has gone the chaps are out in force ... Terry Foz and Dave out today.... Stephen out 2 days on the trot...the second with Mrs Pope!
The award goes to Matt who survived an attempt on his life by a hoody wearer in a car... The lad tried to push him off as they drove past. All in the hands of the law now .

The first steps...
Well , it's been decided. 8 of us are doing the ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in June with 1 other doing the first 3 days...
Terry, Dave, Foz, Pete, Stephen, Matt, Glyn and Simon... Howard is the wise one just doing the first 3!
Training rides are sorted and in the diary.
Just need to organise a van and support crew and travel and accommodation... No small tasks..
